Apology

My apologies to WalMart. I found out yesterday that they didn't pull all those other brands of peanut butter off their shelves like I had thought. In reality they were sold out. Seems I wasn't the only one who just had to have some.

Gotta have it

Have you ever just really craved some certain food? especially if someone tells you that its currently unavailable to you?? Recently there was a recall on Peter Pan and WalMart brand peanut butter that was made in Georgia. We checked the cupboard and found that our partially consumed jar of WalMart brand peanut butter came from the lot that was recalled. For several days the jar sat on the kitchen counter reminding me that I couldn't have it and each time I glanced at it I wanted peanut butter more. Finally I went to the store in hopes of buying a new safe jar of that tasty spread and was crushed to find NO peanut butter on the shelves. I think they went a bit overboard as they removed ALL peanut butter rather than take a chance on any of them. Now I really wanted, almost felt I needed to have some. Two days later I stopped at a regular grocery store and found that they had only removed the tainted lot from their shelves so I grabbed a jar of the creamy delight and have since been enjoying it. Honestly I hardly ever eat the stuff these days but when I couldn't have it I really wanted it.

new baby

Jonathon Isaac Mathew Morris son of Kris and Sheri Morris arrived safely yesterday (02/22/07) at 5:17am. He weighed in at 7lbs 13 oz and has alot of light curly hair. His mom and dad are elated!!! Sheri is doing fine and will be home with Jonathon (or is that J.I.M.M.)tomorrow. Congratulations and God's blessings to the Morris household.

The daffodils are blooming

We have been enjoying getting outside to take long walks and feel the sun shine again. This winter has seemed extremely cold all over and we're happy to see the spring flowers blossoming and feel those gentle warm southern breezes. We even had windows open one day this week and look forward to alot more of that in the near future. Our big inside projects of painting and having new flooring put in are done so we're ready to start with the yard work again. Hopefully the harsh cold days will have decreased the 6 legged critter population some this year.
